Experience a combination of Flavors: Take Home Tasting Room #4 with 4 different flavors, one bottle of Sweet Mead and one bottle of Semi Sweet Mead for each flabor.n – This collection contains 4 different flavors of our Meads: Pomegranate, Plum Lemon, Fig Lemon and Lemon Lime. One bottle of Sweet Mead and one bottle of Semi Sweet Mead for each Flavors.

All our meads are made with fresh fruits and Arizona honey. We grow most of our fruits that we use in our meads. We are a California Certified Fruit Producer. The fruits are added at the beginning of the process so the flavor is more subtle. There are no chemicals added to enhance the flavors.

The sweet meads have extra honey added to make them really sweet with an alcohol content of approx. 12%. The semi sweet meads are dryer and have a higher alcohol content.

Mead can be served chilled or at room temperature. Me, I like the sweet meads chilled or served over ice. Also they are good over ice cream.

There will be one bottle of Sweet and one bottle of Semi Sweet for each flavor. They are packaged into 4 tubes with 2 bottles in each, offering a total volume of 400 ml. Each bottle is 50 ML which is 1.67 ounces for a total of 400 ML or 13.36 ounces.

How should I best enjoy these meads? You can drink these meads chilled or at room temperature. I also like them over ice. And over ice cream. And sitting down. There is no right or wrong way. There is only your way and my way.
What is the difference between Mead and Wine? Mead is actually a type of wine. Most wines are made from the fermentation of Grapes. Mead is made from the fermentation of Honey and water. Often with meads fruits, vegetables, and/or spices maybe added to give a subtle flavor.
Are the bottles recyclable? Yes these containers are recyclable. Also some states are starting to require a container redemption fee for the 50 ML bottles, which should help with recycling.
Is The Hoochery doing anything else to help the environment? Our winery is located in Northern Arizona in Ash Fork. We are located about 9 miles south of Ash Fork and about 6 miles from the nearest paved road. We are off grid and sustainable.
